Celebrate our 10th Anniversary with Us!

June 25th, 2014 Posted in Shows

Way back in the olden times of 2004, a group of young women fantasized about starting a mini-bike dance crew. They made it happen, and we've been going strong ever since. Over 40 members have donned the hot pink and black through the years, performing their wild and wiley acrobatic bike tricks in parking lots, dirt patches, city parks, and warehouses. This week has brought together past Sprockettes from all over the country to celebrate our tenth anniversary. And we want YOU to join us for two awesome events this weekend! Our tenth anniversary ride on Friday, June 27th, 7pm at Peninsula Park will lead you (quite literally) down memory lane, as we traverse the city and visit many of the Sprockettes favorite and most important local spots. Many Sprockettes, current, past, and OG will be there, and we'll all be happy to tell you our funny tour stories or about that one time we were on National Public Radio. Check out the details on the Facebook event page. The 2004 Multnomah County Bike Fair was our first performance ever, and on Saturday, June 28th at Col. Summer's Park we will return to The Bike Fair to celebrate. Past Sprockettes will be dancing some of our greatest hits, and current Sprockettes will perform new jams.  The Bike Fair is a full day of bike fun, so be sure to check out the entire schedule of events.
